1. Prepare the Cleaning Solution

  • Fill a bucket with warm water.
  • Add a small amount of mild soap or detergent. Do not use abrasive or harsh chemicals.

2. Remove Cushions and Accessories

  • Remove any cushions, pillows, or other accessories from your outdoor furniture.

3. Rinse the Furniture

  • Use a garden hose with a spray nozzle to thoroughly rinse the furniture. This removes loose dirt and debris.

4. Scrub the Surface

  • Dip a soft bristle brush or cloth into the warm soapy water.
  • Gently scrub all surfaces, paying extra attention to any stained or dirty areas.
  • For stubborn stains, repeat the process.

5. Rinse

  • Once you've cleaned the furniture, rinse it thoroughly with clean water using the hose.

6. Dry Your Furniture

  • Wipe down the furniture with a clean, dry microfiber cloth to remove excess moisture.
  • Leave the furniture in an open area to air dry completely.

7. Clean and Replace Cushions

  • While your furniture is drying, clean any cushions or accessories following their care instructions.
  • Once everything is dry, place the cushions and accessories on your furniture.

Maintenance Tips:

  • Regularly clean your outdoor furniture and accessories to prevent dirt buildup.
  • Store cushions and accessories in a dry, cool place when not in use. Cushion covers may be spot cleaned with warm soapy water and left to dry.
  • Use furniture covers to protect your pieces during extended periods of non-use or inclement weather.

By following these simple steps, you will continue to enjoy your outdoor furniture for years to come.
